The first demo was bad if you looked at the background closely along with the problems it had. I'll check out the second demo but from game videos ive seen lately, it looks like its improved a lot.

The frame rate is still a disaster zone. It struggles to reach 30fps, and side scrollers must be 60fps or else head aches and eye strain will shortly follow.
