i am interested in the story for this. i like how you just follow these guys around and you can see them changing physically and probably mentally

although i am disappointed they already spoilt how they will look near the end of the game :\

I wonder if they've used enough bloom.

At least we get to play marines/mercenaries this time. Seems like the game industry is getting some creativity back.

One of the very few new IPs of 2012. I really hope this marriages gameplay and storytelling and throws all our expectations out the window. A war game hasn't emotionally fucked me up since Brothers in Arms.

Or then, Matt Williams (the writer) has to eat a lot of crow.

I hope they get to story right. If it fails to deliver I have a feeling the whole game will have lost it's appeal.

Gameplay looks a bit jenky. An impactfull military shooter sounds great on paper. But the last game to promis such a thing turned out to be laughably bad (homefront)

I predict a shallow, dude-bro, throw-away story, unlikable characters, and mediocre gunplay. I'll be shocked if it actually delivers on any of its promises. We'll see i guess... I think we can all agree it will bomb sales wise tho.

Release this already, i dont want it but just annoyed about how early publishers announce some of their games.

I quite agree. I was just thinking there has been a real lack of soldier games of late. The only think that could improve this would be if they added space marines to it and set it all to a hip hop soundtrack by DJ ice box.
