Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

At the end of June, we will eventually find out if Spec Ops: The Line was worth the long wait. Until then, we have a whole new trailer of the game for you guys. This time, it's the multiplayer aspect of Yager Development's new title which is put forward.

Looks like a poor man's Uncharted without any vertical gameplay.

A Sand Featurette would be cool, want to know if that makes a huge impact or is just like a Gears of War 3 temporary weather effect.

That wasn't very impressive, and at the same time not bad, but what's got my interest is the single player.

Uncharted? Doom...cmon, where did you get Uncharted from that.

Looks like Army of Two meets The Club.

You see, there was this desert, and there were guys with guns, plus there is some multiplayer, and the whole thing is in 3rd person, so it MUST all equal up to an Uncharted 3 knock off; it just must.

Anyway, multiplayer looks decent, but like with most games, I am more interested in the single-player. This one being inspired by the writings of Joseph Conrad, Heart of Darkness to be specific, has my full and undivided attention. Been looking for a videogame with a real script, and real character development, and a true moral gray area. Those things are so few and far between in videogames, so it is always a treasure when one shows up that nails it. Hopefully Spec Ops: The Line won't disappoint.

I saw some uncut multiplayer footage a few days ago and honestly, it looked like a really bad, really cunky gears of war knock off. There is no way the MP component is going to have any staying power. Single player looks ok gameplay wise, but nothing we havnt seen before done better, nothing special really. but i'll rent it to see if the story is as great as the devs are claiming it to be...somehow i doubt it.

Do any of these multiplayer efforts last past any initial launch interest. I'm guessing some fare better than others but how many sales are lost i wonder if they don't include it. I'm guessing it must make a tiny difference to some because people might potentially buy the game for having mp but it can't be because they have a sustained population of players that devs do this. Unless they really think their game can cause a shift somehow. I suppose just having it on the box makes the difference in a sale for a percentage of players and devs have to recognize that?
