Trailer PS4

Sony couldn't miss this year's San Diego Comic Con to show off something new from Insomniac' Spider-Man. The new trailer reveals more about the game's plot that involves Mayor Norman Osborn and Silver Sable trying to stop the web-slinger.

Plot already seems better and more complex than any Spider-Man movie, this game will be bigger than most people think.

It's the same plot as in all Spider-man movies.
it's avoiding the bumbling spiderman "learning his abilities" origin story that most of the films seem to have focus on at least. plus it involves a story line that incorporates a more comic accurate plot that involves multiple villains. i think the fact it's a more established, older parker will make for a better story.

Judging from the previously released gameplay footage yes, cutscenes are real time and the transitions are seamless. Similar to God of War and Uncharted 4, real-time cutscenes has been the way do it for Sony games this generation.

Why so many villains though?
It'll be interesting if they can pull it off

They look spectacular. I think this game will take the crown for open world graphics when it is released.

what impresses me most is you really have to look for the LOD pop-in. most games that move this fast, have this much versatility and are this open tend to have really obnoxious pop-in. but it's almost completely absent here.

Why does almost every trailer have to be in 4K. Does everyone have 4K displays?

it's a 4k game, they're showing off the visuals. they're going to release promotional material of the game looking it's best. and it's best is 4k
