Bam! in the lock...slap! in the face!
I've loved the stories in all the SC games.
I do hope the next game goes back in time. Playing as a younger Sam in a lower tech time period would be very interesting.

-Grim back only remember her voice in the beginning of the series other then that it was usually Lambert saying "dear god fisher the mission is over"
-expect a lot since it from the team that made of SC1 and SC:CT if I'm not mistaken...hope for the best Double Agent was weak...
Awesome to see her "in person" finally.. one of the most memorable character interactions in Splinter Cell (which granted isn't saying much) is between her and Sam in Chaos Theory when he realises how much older he is when she assumes "hi fi" means "high in fiber". I laughed out loud at that whole "Sam, you're old" series of dialogue snippets during the heist mission. :D

-She was in Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. In DA it was a girl from JBA that kept updating you. And Lambert's line was a classic. haha. Sad that it won't be in this one.
-Ditto. Double Agent was a low point in the series but if AC2 came back from what AC1 got wrong I see hope that Ubi Montreal is finally getting a grip this gen.
I'm not sure which version this follows on from. In terms of the "canon" you'd think Ubisoft Montreal are the guys that'd establish that stuff, and they made the Xbox version. Shanghai went to town on the 360 version and came out with something barely resembling the original.
I did not know that. I played the PC (7th gen) version and found it horrid. Did you play the original 6th gen version? It sounds like that was the better one and I might just pick it up before this game comes out.
It is a much, much tighter experience that spends more time being a beautifully playable Splinter Cell game and less time having you "cinematically walk around between each mission", and does away completely with the awkward daylight missions. There are still "double agent" missions in the JBA HQ, but those are normal Splinter Cell missions and just as enjoyable as the rest of the game.
It looks stunning, running backwards compatible on the 360 too. The only difficulty right now is actually finding a copy of it. Coming out so late on the Xbox, they seem to exist in limited print, at least around these (europe) parts.

Almost too much to bare for non-americans...almost
Has anyone played Conviction yet? Looks like there are some serious tearing issues going on.
