After the very bland demo my biggest hope for this game is online play. The AI is awful and the game gets very predictable and formulaic fast. The powerplays aren't satisfying to use and get old so fast. My biggest gripe though is how dated the gameplay feels in terms of racing. So little sense of physics or control.

Anyhow, I like the look of the game and the idea on paper is cool so I'm hoping that enough track variety and playing online make make the game feel different. I really thought that demo was gonna be much better

I liked the looks and presentation of the demo, and thats about as far as it went. I still prefer Burnout Paradise for this kind of action/racer. Will rent possibly... slim chance of purchase.

Totally agree with Nietzsche, the controls kind of pulled the game down. I'd love a multiplayer demo, even if it was only for two weeks.

Damn, this game is boring. Just tried the demo and wow...what a snorefest.

Nice visuals, but imo Blur shits all over this (even though Blur has some major balance issues)...

I agree Jato, even though blur is FAR from perfect, it is at least fun to play. Split Second is so much like a Michael Bay film, tons of big explosions and high quality effects, but really no substance at all underneath.
