Xbox 360

Microsoft and Square-Enix finally put online the TGS trailer of Star Ocean 4 on the Marketplace. I've recorded both US and Japanese versions, so you guys can enjoy whatever version you prefer :)

wow, very impressive - really liking what I see here ... shame there's no EU release date at the end of the movie though ...

"Edge Maverick".... just lol. The game doesn't look too bad--the only things that concern me are 1) it's a Square title 2) on Xbox 360. The company and the console don't exactly have the best track record for JRPGs in recent years. Here's hoping this game changes things.

Wait, what was that about shutting the fuck up unless you had some love for the game to spew? ;)

Anyway, the game looks alright. Still bugs me that the characters are so lifeless though. Well, after the fiasco with IU i won't be picking this game up at release anyhow.

I'm not a huge jrpg fan but graphically I think this looks pretty amazing and imo it's amongst the best looking games this generation.

And I do have, no need to shove it in everyone's face :P ... best premise of all jRPGs this gen (can get enough of the space soap opera theme).
SO3 was the most mixed bag of the seriesl (great fun, shitty story)... but just look at all that juice, So pretty.

It looks pretty, and to alimokrane; this is Square Enix. Eventually the title will have a pal release. Or at least, I hope so...

They really need to work on the lip-sync. Looks great though.

Why do people continue to Label Square-Enix for IU and TLR? Square has yet to release a next gen "Square" title... IU was tri ace, and TLR is more the Enix side of Square (Plus UE3..eww) just wait till the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games start coming out, everyone will be like "Square Enix is back!" ...when in truth nothings changed. And why does it concern you that its on 360? .....Thats pure Bias

This is not a Square Enix game, it's a Square Enix published game, it's made by Tri Ace, Granted there previous Xbox 360 game wasn't the best on other hand. But it they just do exactly the same they done with the star ocean series, tehre is nothing who can go wrong.

Star Ocean 3 was the RPG I had the most fun with on the entire Lineup of PS2 games sure it may not been the actual best game but nothing can actually change that I had so much wfun with that game.

Sadly the english dub is as bad as always, I do hope it comes with Original Voice as well, but for now I just need to go into hibernation for 96 more days....

The graphics look really nice. IU was decent so nothing to worry about for me here either especially since they wanted to keep the SO gameplay more or less untouched.
The lip synchronization for English is not really good though…

hmm.. seems to play the same as the previous titles, so it isn't thaat interesting to me gameplay-wise.. but if someone made a story summary with all the cutscenes and some relevant Boss-fights, then I'd like to watch it (japanese language with subtitles prefered)
