Starward Industries, a young Polish studio founded by developers who worked on The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Cyberpunk 2077 or Call of Juarez; unveiled The Invincible. The game is described as a "100% solo" first-person scifi thriller set in a retro-future atompunk world based on the novel by Stanisław Lem. The story follows a space scientist who uncovers terrifying secrets on hostile planet Regis III while looking for the missing crew of the spaceship. The title is planned to release in 2021 for PC, PS5 and Series X. First screens inside.

I'm immediately in, it gives a retro style feel like Fallout, BioShock and No One Lives Forever, which all my brain can do is beg for more. The premise and setting are really great, "retro-futurism", like someone said. I checked Starward Industries' site, Steam page, YouTube channel and Google, but didn't find a trailer.
The only video I found was a Music Preview with really atmospheric music. The musi is great, it's like a mix of so many great soundtracks' vibes, I hear a hint of Inception, Equilibrium, Twin Peaks, and so many otherworks of art.
It also has this very strong melancholy feel to it, with a dash of hopelessness. But then it changes to a more hopeful tone and... I won't ruin the track's surprises to anyone interested. Seriously freaking great track. Listening to it in repeat to savour all the details. If the rest of the soundtrack is like this, I will get the album as well as the game.

This is so much in my Steam wishlist that now I just want to consume/know more of it. What a fantastic surprise.
PS. Game2k or Driftwood, this might be a far fetch request, but even if this only happens after more of the game is revealed or when it launches, I hope you guys can do a type of interview with the music composer. Something like you did with other music composers in the past. Asking their ideas, inspirations, what they wanted to evoke, etc. I would really love that. I totally understand this might not even be possible, but that would be epic if it did.
"The gameplay is quite diverse, including exploration, navigation, face to face discussions with NPCs, operating various equipment which is all analogue, solving clues, interacting with robots, piloting drones, crunching data, even driving vehicles,” Markuszewsk explains to us. “A large part of interaction will include radio comms, sometimes dense, even tense at times, often intimate, closely related to the unfolding events – in that way The Invincible can remind of Firewatch."
He also added:
"On the other hand, in terms of gameplay and atmosphere, the closest game I can think of is Alien: Isolation. Among tens of games which we’ve researched while working on The Invincible’s concept, these two titles combined perhaps represent the best of what our game is going to offer."

While I would have loved a more action oriented game like a Shooter or Sim, I also love narrative driven games like What Remains of Edith Finch, Firewatch, Gone Home, etc. So this might be a really great game.
For a more action oriented retro-futuristic game, "Atomic Heart" by developer Mundfish looks great and there are quite a few videos of it in action.

Now this is just plain awesome.
