Why is the graphics engine still looking all cartoonish?
Is it any good, honest opinion or just a rental?
"really scary like the show"? Must be kidding. right?
The TV show isn't scary at all (at least in my opinion). I loved the first 3 seasons and the latest episodes (after the midseason-finale) of season 4 but they r nothing compared to the telltale game. It's so intense and emotional. It's an awesome experience.
And btw they use this cartoonish look to relate on the comics of The Walking Dead and now it's telltales personal style. (They also use it in The Wolf Among Us e.g.)

Then it also has its annoying non scary and idiotic moments but you cannot deny the first season and early in the jail cleaning season when they went Doom 3 style flash light gun.
yes the comic is cartoonish...so are all types of comics...but the show is live action and not for kids...as a videogame it seems to me that the cartoony look is meant for little kiddies to play the game as their parents basically ignore the rating system as always yet turn around and blame videogames when it suits them for violence.

But in my opinion those games are a way better. They are not as long as other games but that is why they are so intense. And I did not read the comics either...
But you have to like (or at least get used) to the cell-shading look and Clementine. So just play the first episode of season 1. I recommend it.
