Koch Media has announced that Superbike World Championship 07 will be released on the PS2, PSP, PC and now Xbox 360. This one is developed by Milestone, the same guys that did the first Superbike World Championship back in 1999. It did pretty good and got solid reviews, so this can turn into something good. While the Xbox 360 and PC versions will be released this autumn, the PSP and PS2 versions will be released in a couple of months. Inside you'll find some new images from the PS2 version of the game.

Really hope this delivers really enjoy motorbike games on me PS2 anyway. :)
as for the screens presented, with them being on ps2 its hard to comment but it doesnt look at all bad so hopefully they can push the newer hardware as they did with the old
Screens look nice, and those are of the PS2 version, pretty nice. Looking forward to seeing the 360 screens.
:)
:)
I also wonder if they'll take advantage of the 360 hardware.
So I guess wait and see. Now, why are people bashing GP? How exactly did it suck?
@ Bingham, I'm actually surprised because you say you like motorbike games on PS2........where's there's nothing special there. MotoGP by Climax>>>>>>MotoGP by Namco......and let's not even talk about Tourist Trophy and the lack of triggers on the PS2 controller.
I liked the graphics of Moto GP on 360 etc could not fault it the controls were way off though something was not quite right. I used to play with my friend twice a night or sometimes 3 times a week on Moto GP on PS2 for silly hours was proper hardcore at it used to have awesome fights but it was missing in the 360 version PS2 was much better at delivering a Moto GP experience. To add to that we only played it for over a month and got absolutely annoyed with the game the 360 version was shocking and i dont think i am the only one to mirror that alot of dislike to the game coming from alot of fans.
Oh ye and i nearly forgot the terrible slowdown the game had going around hairpins it was not a motorbike experience it felt not quite solid enough to match PS2.
Saying that though i look forward to the next 360 version as now the team would of had more of chance with 360. I think the next installment will be a great game i will be dissapointed if its not.
i was hoping ps2 games where dead by now but obviously not
But thanks for explaining, I don't see the problem with the handling of the bikes, that's probably the reason I bought it considering it was pretty much a remake of GP3 with a lot better handling.
Maybe it might have been due to trying to get used to it with a new controller seems to be ok on other game with controller though so not so sure.Braking and using front and rear brakes using shoulder buttons on PS2 controller was easier then it is using 360 i felt it to be more precise and more effective. But anyway something was not quite right for me didnt keep me long playing it as much as the PS2 versions had them from the start of Moto GP and played all the series so im not new to game.
Like i say all of matter of opinion i think the next game will be better id like to think so.
:)
Tourist Trophy is the best bike simulation I've played on a console. Everything else is like running a freecam on an oval track, aka nothing to do with driving in the slightest.
