This isn't garbage, you need to get those eyes chequed.
Looks very solid.
There ain't no theory up in here just dropping some facts that's all.

Compare this bull to the amazing Riddick-series with it's revolutionary blend of gameplay between stealth, hand to hand combat and fps then this just looks bland.

This game is undeservedly getting hate, first because it has the "Syndicate" name attached to it, second because is another "FPS".
The game looks fun to me, I don't know why it looks dull to some, it has some melee kills, slidding, as far as I can tell good weapon feedback and killing feedback, doesn't look generic to me, is Starbreeze we are talking about here, they know how to make good games IMO.
It just seems that this all hate it gets its undeserving.
Maybe is all pure Riddick and Darkness fans that are mad, I dont know.
Thae game may turn out garbage? yes it may.
But so far it looks promising IMO taht is all.
I might be overly negative but I just get this bad vibe from the gameplay demo they showed a while back.
I think it's unlikely this will throw up much in the way of strategy like some of us might hope for, but a good game may still emerge. I played a lot of Syndicat back on the Amiga and to be honest my only real tactic i seem to recall now from that time was using a combined four men offensive each time- seemed different at the time though. I got fairly far into it actually but other than the fun aspect of researching and loading up my squad, i didn't use a whole lot of strategy where combat was concerned
Played it recently too and the idea of how Syndicate played back then is different from of my recent playthrough of the first 4 or 5 missions. I recall my friend finishing it as well and he wasn't what i would call a master strategist. Who knows
This could be a very good fps game though if you don't go in expecting it to mimick Syndicate. Hard of course when the bloody thing is called Sydicate, but like i say, maybe it wasn't as truly deep a strategy game out there in combat
