Xbox 360

To celebrate the opening of the Tales of Vesperia's official website, here's a new scan as seen in the Shonen Jump magazine. This title seems very promising (if you are into J-RPGs) and in top shape.

Looks interesting. Never was a big Tales fan, more of a Final Fantasy man myself, but game looks good.

Apparently it is timed (though the producer's words about a PS3 version from Play magazine should be taken with a grain of salt), as in this game comes at the end of the year for the 360 and the PS3 version comes sometime next year (to go against the juggernaught of FFXIII, how smart Namco Bandai!). Anyway, the devs got 360 kits earlier than PS3 kits so they went with the 360 for development of the game.

The Tales games really like to shift platforms, don't they? Thankfully they aren't connected - by stories at least, lots of past characters come back to be optional bosses and such hehe.

Anyways, I can't wait... I was expecting to buy this on my PS3 cuz I could have sworn it would be on a sony system, but whatever, it will sit beside my Eternal Sonata :)

Here's to having both PS3 and 360. I don't have to be upset and jealous :) Maybe except of the Wii ppl, just a bit though :P

I love Tales of series.

This looks great, tales of 360 exclusive, even a timed one just seems odd. But you wont find me complaining, big fan of the series.

It's not timed it's not exlusive. They just started develop it for the Xbox 360 first due they got the development kit, plus it's much easier to make Xbox 360 games as well.

I bet we probobly will se more of this from Namco-Bandai, this is not the first title this happens for.

I doubt we will be seeing this kind of thing (uncompensated timed exclusives) any more from Namco Bandai. Especially if Tales of Vesperia sales are anything like Eternal Sonata sales.

Not really, I think we will see it less now, Capcom have proven that DMC4 could be dev'd at the same time, and worldwide also, Namco are stuck in the past in how they make games anyway, like Eternal Sonata it will take ages to come to Europe.

Namco bandai do not publish games in Europe, they have never done that, All games from them who comes out in Europe is published by third party publisher, Hence the way long delay. Hence why it will take ages as they don't give shit about Europe.

Another JRPG on the 360, I'm love it.

I'm with itaintrite, It pays to have both the 360 & the PS3.

You get the best of both.
