dont care if gameplay isnt the greatest out there, this game is very unique and there is no other game like it
I also wish there was a little more variety to the environments. None of them really appeal to me that much. If Just Cause 2 can manage to fit snow, desert, rain forest, city, coast, mountain, and whatever else onto some tropical islande, why doesn't this?

burnout and TDU are almost completly different games with the only slight similarity being free roam only in TDU you can go at least 97% where you want where as burnout has invisable barriers everywhere.
also just cause 2 is a sandbox game, why hasnt GTA or Saintrow done the same, rather than trying to compre almost similar games why dont you compare directly similar games to TDU i know the answer already and its simply you cant.
if you think its so easy to make a game like TDU go ahead and create your own game and in maybe a few years time post your hard work on gamersyde so another hypocrite can rubbish all your hard work.
just 1 more thing have you actually been to ibiza or the hawaiian island of oahu, there both near the equator which if im not mistaken is pretty dam warm and as these are real world locations adding snow to ibiza would just look very stupid indeed, burnout paradise is set in a virtual reality, just cause 2 is set in a virtual reality neither BP or JC2's environment exist in real life (maybe they have certain buildings/structures base on real life but in game is essentially make beleive.

Also I want the Ferrari 250 GTO. Its my favorite car ever.

just cause was an environment similar to TDU whereby you can drive cars..... though ive got no gripe with the environments in tdu, i DO have a gripe with the gameplay, and solely the gampeplay.
you see, there is this blur between arcade and simulation which people are trying to perfect.
i had my hope in tdu back in 06 and produced a racing team/site dedicated to tdu, thats how much i wanted it to succeed.
as soon as it arrived, the physics were immensely flawed and unpredictable, and so was the online element with cars flying all over the shop.
for example, side by side with another car, the car would ACTUALLY be 3 car lengths behind you and not by your side as per on your screen or the other drivers screen.
the scope of this game is great. the idea is great..... well executed? or the "get a house, a wench and a fast car" scene being over milked? ill give it a go and let you know
