I'm looking forward to the new coop mode...

But i'm also still hoping that in multiplayer the gamemaster can disable the 3rd-person cam when hiding.

best regards,

This is a rehash typical of Ubisoft. They always bring out a new engine and setting, and they use that same one for at least one more game in the series. This is true of all their military/war games such as Splinter Cell, GRAW, and Rainbow Six.

I'm not saying it will be bad, most likely it will be great, but really new will be here. Reused assets (Las Vegas), and fixed issues, a new terrorist story, etc......but nothing terribly exciting.

If you are wonder if I come from the future, the answer is yes.

Graphical peaks are ever reaching new heights, really serving to illustrate how dated Ubisoft has rendered this series. The first installment was already below top-of-the-line in the production department (coming in after Gears of War), but the sequel has to launch in the summer to make a real impression on me now.

Looks like a rental.

OMG! I can't wait, this game was so much fun. If part 2 is even close to that then I'll be in heaven...

I like RS:Vegas, but i don't want the same city again. I suspect they will recycle lots of assets from RS:Vegas.

If it's the same level of upgrade like GRAW > GRAW2, then this is definitely rental material. But fun it will be :)

As for production (and gameplay), I thought Vegas was better than Gears of War - much more variety in the environments (despite being casinos, they had different themes)- and lets not forget a much better cover system. I actually never play gears anymore, but pick up rainbow with friends once in a while. I'm just hoping for more multiplayer maps like calypso casino. I might find the need to purchase this... though DMC4 and Lost Oddessy might distract me.

Everyone misses out the main improvement: bullet penetration.

This means less glitches etc.

I ALSO hate current-gen rehashes. I see them all over the place and avoid them at all costs, but the original Vegas is still one of my all-time favorite FPS games. So, I'm caught in a tough situation... I guess we'll have to just wait for the reviews on this one.

Uhhhh, what the heck are you talking about? The UBI teams make some of the best games out.

Ubi is one of the best teams today, no one should be able to say otherwise

In my opinion though, the Rainbow games have been great, but they lost some of the fun they had back on the original for Xbox

I liked the first Vegas but I won't buy an expansion pack "game". I skipped on Ghost Recon 2 because of that.
