i hope they are advertising the fact that there are now chainsaw clashes in this game. it was annoying when you thought you chainsawed someone first only to be killed by the other person chainsawing.

Like destructable environments? :P That's one of the new additions to the UE3 engine, running GoW tech demos.

Does Epic ever release tech demos for us folks to download to our PCs?

I like demos =D

I thought Microsoft had an already mighty lineup for 2008. Adding Gears 2 (with new Engine), the list of possible Triple A titles is overwhelming; I'd say, even turning the tables for those thinking it was Sony's year in term of software.

I didn't like Gears of War 1, much at all really.

The only thing this trailer really seems to show is a new animation...

Not interested yet.

The 'Microsoft had no games in 08' thing was always a bit of a misnomer. They've got plenty for this year. I think the question marks over their line-up are broadening their output to a wider audience and the years forward after this one, 2009, 2010. Assuming they effectively sealed up the Mass Effect trilogy then Bioware going to EA isn't a big deal but I'm not sure Turn 10 can fill Bizarre's shoes, for example.

On the other hand, I think Fable 2 is going to be massive after watching the co-op vids.

Yeeessh! I've been secretly wanting this game for 2008 and I'm glad Epic & MS didnt drop the ball as I was starting to fear (that they'd only work on futile projects like UT3! GAAH!).

Wohooo!

Finally ! I just hope for a deeper storyline (which means longer gameplay by atleast a couple of hours), better graphics and new weapons.

Meh, I can't say I was impressed by the first game. Visuals aside it had very tedious gameplay, zero story or character development and a cliffhanger of an ending that puts Halo 2 to shame, it was uncalled for and uncesesary. I literly thought the next level was about to start, until the credits started rolling.

The fact the developers more or less abandoned the 360 to work on the PC after release also weakened my faith in the developers.
