Tecmo has dropped the first Ninja Gaiden 3 teaser to celebrate the start of the 2011 GDC. 2012 is the expected release date, no platforms announced but more stuff at the next E3.
No game will beat this for me, no game!
I have hyped any game in my life as I do with NG games, king of the genre as Bayonetta is the queen of the genre.
Ryu looks cursed and is killing like an TRUE badass!
You have no idea how much I wanted gore in NG to be like GoW, and since GoW3 showed blood on Kratos I wanted that for Ryu as well.
I mean Ryu is so fast and so visceral it just fits the style so much, thank god its in.
Also, Hayashi did say it was going to have the feeling of bones crushing when you attack with your weapon, the sound of the bones in the teaser, man, so visceral LOL
Guys check this out, as my usual investigation, I found this very awesome.
It seems Ryu draws some sort of a cursed blood from his enemies.
I hope to god it goes like DMC were if Ryu gathers enough he can transform into a badass ninja-demon for a few seconds and unleash crazy stuff, would be fantastic.
this is not going to be a simple 1 day to complete like killzone 3 COD MW2 ect all i know is ninja gaiden is a very hard game to complete even on the easiest setting which if i remember was "hard" then youve got "very hard" (ninja gaiden 2 sigma).
I don't know (or care really) about all this blood/demon/costume etc stuff... I just want the same amazing gameplay and fluid battles that the first ninja gaiden perfected and no other game has matched to this date.
NG is hands down the king of the action genre IMO and I really hope this game matches the perfection that was NGB.

Same here man, they HAVE to keep the NG2 combat and just evolve it to make it much faster, much more exagerated, more flashy.

Well, I don´t like the new look of his suite and it also looks like the trademark dragon sword isn´t used in this teaser. Maybe they changed the design, which would be stupid since it is one of the franchise´s characteristics.
But who cares if they tie in with the NG2 combat, the rpg elements, level design, music and great Ai from NG1.

No is not, was though pre Bayonetta that is IMO.
Like I said...
Ninja Gaiden is the KING of the genre while Bayonetta is the QUEEN. And considering Bayonetta is the only female character that can live up to the action the males can, Bayonetta has nothing to worry about ;)

The suit is the regular one, minor changes like other NGs before it.
About the sword, it is Genshin's sword, not the Dragon Sword.
Me and my friend's guess is that someone stole Dragon Sword and he is using Genshin's sword, and his sword is CURSED (hence the possessed Ryu). Ryu ALWAYS used one hand when using Genshin's sword while True Dragon Sword in the other, but here he is using both hands.
Can be anything.
The music is most definitely going to deliver, my favorite tracks in gaming music is from NG games, the composers stayed with Team Ninja thank god.

You can't compare Metroid franchise to NG.
Metroid wasent made by Team Ninja, they got offered to do something they wanted and they did.
But Ninja Gaiden is made by Team Ninja which from the beginning so that is different.

No, you show your face so the enemies know who the badass is.
But IMO, I dont want them to reveal his face in NINJA GAIDEN. The beauty is that he is this mysterious badass super ninja that will remain one.
But if they show it, not an issue for me, I know how he looks like anyways.
Its just that his headgear is awesome.
Besides, his face has been revealed since NES, no biggie.
People like to bitch about something for the sake of it, truly shows.
