Tekken 6, in its arcade version, is back after last week's scans via these gallery of 27 images. And even with all the Tekken stuff going on (one doesn't have to like all these strange looking colored impacts), it certainly looks good.

One would think the PS3 is capable of a lot more graphical power?
Screens and previous movies show stuff that could possibly run on the PS2 imo.
Only real difference are the souped up ingame cutscenes and better use of particles.
But I'm sure it plays great as always. And that's what counts!
p.s. And I can digg the fat guy. anything better then Dr. Boskonovitch!! 0_o
btw: any news on sound improvement, can't help but feel that old Tekken had kind of muted sound effects compared to other fighters out there, and the lack of rumble doesn't help.

anyone can remember that teaser movie back at e3 (2005?) of Jin showing off his armor and gloves.
That really got me hyped.
And now all we see is tekken 5.5
Or am I missing something here? Huge multilevel, destructible arena's? a tsunami of options and gamemodes? Let's hope so
p.s. What is the release date?
how does that look bad???

Looks better than DOA4 and VF5, and DOA is my favorite fighting game.
