Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One

Here is the full trailer of Tekken 7 that was teased last week. Unfortunately it doesn't reveal much more than the first teaser.

Terrible dubbing is terrible. Looks pretty as hell though, can't wait to see gameplay and maybe someday Tekken X Street Fighter?

Just an extended GC trailer, i was hoping to see some gameplay. At this point i wouldn't doubt gamescom to be 40 seconds compiled of gameplay in the mists of a 4 minute CG trailer. how sad that developers persist in still doing this.

They don't even confirm or deny what platforms it's being made on. they could have made the video more useful.

Meh, getting kinda bored of all these franchises now, wish they would just come up with something new to get us excited, some proper new next gen franchises that keep things fresh. Really shouldn't be using CG trailers this Gen, especially when they can get so much more out of the graphics now :/

Then don't play it. I agree that i hope T7 will change things up a bit, but at the same time i don't want it to stop being Tekken, so it's a fine balance.

I dont plan on getting it since i dont play fighters anymore as i did during Xbox/PS2 era, but I am just excited to see the new engine and Tekken models in action!

Can't wait to see insane details on the character models.

PS. Kazuya, Raven (Blade lol) and Lars are my favorites lol

Kaz is awsome, but too difficult for me to play at a decent level. Lars represents everything currently wrong with tekken :P

I like Kazuya's high kick-mid punch-low kick-mid punch. i dont know his button combo but i know it starts with back-high kick. On PS3 its kind of like Back-O-Square-X-Triangle or something. He has that move even in SFxTekken.

I dont know why you think Lars is wrong? He is as component as any other fighter i seen, unless there is a spamming move or something, i dont know (i dont play fighters anymore as i said). But i do love how Lars flip arounds and have a cool stylish fighting without looking weird about it (that cape flap to go with it).

He is just too good, even after getting nerfed in TTT2. Kazuya has some amazing moves but some obvious weaknesses as well. Kaz is very defensive and relies on reading the opponent and VERY tight inputs (Things like consistent electrics, pewgf and options from wave dashing), he lacks good pokes and so forth. Lars has long retard-strings, every move crushes, he has good pokes, relatively safe launchers and still some really good punishers. He's just so well rounded and good at EVERYTHING while still being completely spammable due to all the crushing and long strings. Hate Lars, Bob, Alisa and so forth with a passion. They represent the bad side of Tekken imo. A lot of the new characters from Tekken 5 and forward feel like they just went nuts with the crushes and strings. But i'm not expecting someone who admittedly not plays tekken to catch this kind of stuff. And that's not an insult, i'm jsut saying it's something that more experienced players will probably notice, i think.

You're reminding me why I don't like Tekken in general. I should just go fight Jin in SCV. That should be enough to make me come to my senses.

I was starting to buy into the hype too. I mean, here we have the first real instance of a "next generation" 3D fighter. I want to believe!

I understand from a fighting game fan stand point, but since i am not one of them, i just like using Lars whenever i get the chance to play Tekken since he is easy to use (more or less) and has slick attack animations, thats all for me.

And Kazuya, his moves are somewhat complex to string into combo, i mostly button mash with mix of...what i know lol

What about Killer Instinct? Wasn't that "next generation" enough for you?

1) It's not a 3D fighter.
2) No.

Well i'm still hangin' on to that little shred of hope. Maybe they'll make the right changes this time :P

Well, me too, I guess. I'm just accepting that, well, I don't really like Tekken.

But I'm probably not going to get a new Soul Calibur game anytime soon, and even if I do, who knows where that's headed. As good as Soul Calibur V is, I have very little confidence after the F2P game.

Maybe Sega will do Virtua Fighter 6. I can dream.

VF6 would be really great. The worst part about VF is that if they kept the good tutorials from VF4 EVO and just made the characters look flashier, i think it would sell pretty well. The core games is some of the best available, it just looks boring and drab :P

But let's be realistic, it won't happen :(

Yeah, the training modes in VF5 were pretty lackluster, but it's still an amazing game. And let's be real: they're only lackluster if we're comparing them to EVO, because that had the most robust training options in any fighting game ever. That's still the bar. I would actually be satisfied with a copy of "Final Showdown" that wasn't trapped on XBLA/PSN.

Yeah, Final Showdown is great, but it's hard to find players. I just wish they'd sort of re-think VF in terms of visuals and sounds, just hire like f**king Daisuke Ishiwatari to make cool character designs and give it a rockin' sound track and people would love it. I seriously think that's what's keeping Tekken afloat in terms of casual players. It gets lots of sales because it looks cool and you can learn a few strings without effort and just mash out with your friends. VF in it's current for really requires you to invest in the system to get any enjoyment out of it.

I think it's the more grounded fighting styles that really sells it for me. Less silly explosions and electric god-fists goes a long way toward compensating for a bit boring looking characters. I mean the cahracters are ok, but it's the way they fight that elevates them imo. But Tekken has good core gameplay, they just need to stop churning out retarded characters.
