Blim has just uploaded a high-resolution gameplay video of RR6. Textures are sharp, speed sensation is really good (thanks to the 60fps), but nothing extraordinary either. Oh, one detail: the video is only internal view, so no cars at all. Blim has got an other video with cars, so you gotta be patient ;)

I think for ridge racer it still looks bloody good the visualness of the game was great my only thing is will it look that good on my Sony trition it's only a 27 inch flat screen it has componet hook up's so it has some form of a upper quality. Do you guys think there will be a big differnce then just pluging composite.Cause I did it with my dvd player and there was some improvment

Anybody notice on screens 2 & 8 in the bottom left corner of the screen that there are Pac-Man graphics!?

I think the graphics are average for a next gen game but it could be a good one. Hopefully there will be a lot of gameplay vids and pics today.

i think once we get a direct transfer hi-def video then the graphics will shine........as good as the footage is.........the graphics are wasted on a camcorder

blim blim, why not 640 vid´s ? not all viewers have a high level pc,

Pretty impressive. I can already spot major enhancements from the now 5 year old PS2 game RR5.

1. I noticed extreme detail such as in some buildings, you can see the typical flouresant lights through the glass office buildings
2. The draw distance is huge, its almost like a flight simulator.
3. The texture detail has increased 10 fold, just look at the painted lanes in the street.
4. The image is sharp due to it running in 720p. The only strange thing is that there was no other cars on the track.

Thanks for the Vid, really impressive stuff. I think the reason why there are no other cars on track is probably because the demo running at TGS was Time Attack mode. I can't get over how good the visuals look at 60fps in HD resolution, now all I have to do is scrounge up enough $ to purchase an HD display.

It's also interesting to see that Namco have decided to continue the Nitro feature from Ridge Racer for PSP for Ridge Racer 6.

Well it just looks like the game is running at 30fps and has been sped up to 60, because if you look at how fast the lap counter is moving its way too fast. And also the speed of which the camera is swaying and the peoples heads moving in and out of the frame seem unnaturally faster that you would expect. It makes it harder to tell aswell since the video has no sound. I've compared this footage to Gamespots HD footage and this one seems to run allot faster. There was also a couple of videos from Quake 4 Multiplayer (Not the most recent ones, these ones I'm talking about were posted a while back) that appeared to be running faster than usual without sound either. I'm not criticising you're videos or anything, I just though since there are rumours floating around about the Xbox 360's lack of ability to display 60fps in-game, this might have something to do with that.

Uhh I worded that really wrong..I should have said I've heard rumours that some games will be running at 30fps and not 60fps. Anyway it must be something wrong with the video I have, it just seemed like it was running faster than it should, I'll try downloading it again or something. Sorry if I offended anyone.
