Capcom also released these eight images, beside the old three ones, from Tokyo Game Show and Devil May Cry 4. No wonder people say it was one of the best looking games down there.

Yes, screens and graphics are underwhelming so far. Yes, Nero immediately comes across as the "whiny younger brat" devised only to provide contrast to Dante's coolness. However, letting that convince you that the game isn't going to be awesome means turning a blind eye to previous installments.
DMC has never disappointed with its characters, stories nor environments. They've always been devilishly stylish, over the top bursts of coolness, and there's nothing indicating that this would be any less than just that.
If you're new to the series, there's nothing on DMC4 yet that will catch your attention or in any way convey what they're all about. I find the trailer for DMC3 much more effective in doing that.

Seriously, watch it. :)
I can hope right?
And, I see nothing from a technical standpoint where Lost Planet outperforms DMC4.

Ugh, delusional... seriously.

Graphically, Lost Planet has DMC4 for breakfast if you disregard their stylistic merits. If you don't think so you just haven't been watching the right trailers nor played the demo.
Devs flock the Sony platforms and they'd do that even if they got even more of a groin kicking from Sony. There's where the money is, there's where the biggest market share lies. MS are being nice to devs because they need more support, not because they're such good samaritans.
There really is no need for more bantering, it'll just be reduced to name calling before long.
I'd say DMC4 has the upper hand, and from what I understand atleast twice the framerate? Sounds like it wins--now which is a better game--that's a bit more subjective..personally I'm pretty excited for both.
DMC3 was great--and Lost Planet looks awesome. Can't we all just get along? :P
Technically though, in Lost Planet, when you're zooming around in a mech with ENORMOUS swarms of bug-y ew-ness and what looks like giant tremors coming out of the ground, I can't quite feel that Nero's clobbering of big puppets can compare.
And I listed sequels because they have established track records. :|
By all accounts, Resistance is almost faultless, but since I haven't played the game or its predecessor (Disruptor was released ages ago), I didn't include it in my list...
I know what DMC is like, and I think I made that pretty obvious with my defending it a couple of posts back. I'm not taking the piss here, mind, I even prefer DMC. :)
