actually looking again, I think it is fairly ugly with drab environments, I suspect I was just caught off guard by the fact that they went for such a gritty look with a kids game.
Yeah the series isn't really for kids but it is a little silly. It looks turn based. I hope it isn't as I hate that. A lot of people still enjoy it though so I shouldn't complain.
