Xbox 360 PS3

Here comes a gameplay video of Sonic Unleashed, for once running on the PS3 and quite nicely at that. It sure is fast, even though the guy playing is quite bad.

Please,... by now no amount of effort will ever get Sonic right!

Is this all they could have come up with after all else that failed?

How the bloody mess is this different than the last bunch of Sonic games that failed to deliver on almost every aspect?

Let it rest... or at least come up with something refreshing, something that breathes new life into the Sonic franchise.

Whatever happened to the multi-tiered platforming that meant death was never easy? Finding different routes if you fell?

Wow that guy is horrible. Atleast it looks like youll have to do more than press right, there is some platforming. Looks about right for a sonic game. They definitely had 2d sonics on their mind when designing the level, a very good thing.

It will be a blast when you master the levels.

They fixed the framerate drops from the earlier 360 demo build from E3? Game is looking more and more enticing.

Like a werewolf? I'd rather have the old Sonic stuff thanks, the stuff that worked, the stuff I fell in love with in the first place.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

Why can't the just let it go? Looking at this is like looking at someone trying to revive road kill. Let the old dog lie, FFS. Stop dragging it through the dirt.

It's really starting to get annoying how people are constantly referring to games still as "next-gen". I think we're about 3 years past that point of that saying. The word 'next' means exactly just that.

They can't let it go cause some of us gamers think it looks cool. Reason enough.

It seems there isn't much 'game' about this. Just steering a bit and most of the time you can't even fall off the predetermend routes...
