i thought prototype crossed that line into spiderman 3 territory. where it all just looked too floaty and air based. it didnt come across as being very solid. this looks more refined and solid but i'd like to see what the missions are like, cos while this may have beter combat then prototype, it could also cross the line into spiderman 3 territory if it doesnt have enough "stuff" to do.

i like the look of it tho. digging the dark art style.

Looks pretty avg, this will have to bring solid gameplay and fun to the table to avoid flopping.

Graphically it looks better than most open worlds this gen, and I think online will be big once they announce it.

As far as Prototype, that looked extremely repetitive to me and definitely went spiderman 3.

They really need to make sure they nail the story and gameplay (which looks fun but needs tuning).

The only power you have is electricity (did I spell that correct?). That seems a bit weak. But the graphics seem fine.
yeah indeed,i thought the hero would get more powers.

wel, then its of my most wanted list.

I expect many more powers, though i have to admit the faintly pew pew-esque lightning we saw a while back was pretty lame, especially considering all it really did was knock people out for the most part. Hopefully we will get some force unleashed level of bad ass going on though, and more then just electricity.

its electricity only, but you upgrade your powers as you progress, so im sure that "pew-pew" initial attack will get a lot more powerfull. i mean, we've already seen pretty powerfull lightning grenades and that "raining lighting" uber attack. they seem to be keeping a lot under wraps atm tho.

Denis Dyack was right. The internet has turned into one of the worst things for the videogame industry. People see a few pictures, watch a couple of videos, and without so much as even playing a demo, pass judgments on games that cost tens of millions of dollars to make, and can make or break entire companies, based on opinions about something completely interactive, by not interacting with it at all.

For my part, the game looks nice, but more importantly, it is being developed by Sucker Punch Studios, who have a rock solid record for making AAA titles. So I'll keep an open mind about inFamous, until such a point as a playable demo actually sways me one way or the other.

They have been spoiled with graphics and tons of hype for their exclusives that makes others jealous or just well, hate it.

Good thing I dont follow like a sheep like everybody else. I know what I like and disslike in a game, that's what matters.

Still not sold with this game. Hopefully, if they allow for customization of appearance ala City of Heroes, I will be more interested. Because, personally, I like my hero to look like a superhero.

So by that "logic", since The Hulk just has strength, spiderman can only do spider-like things, and wolverine only can use claws, that videogames based on them would be "weak".

Uh, okay...
