Not a huge fan of the combat style, but I love the scale of the enemies. It is very cool that they are making the combat real time also, and not devolving into QTE's like some other game where you fight large mythical creatures by following colorful button prompts.
Anyone got any additional info on the game? I'm curious if there is anything more to the game than hack n slash. Is it open world with RPG elements, character interaction, and exploration, or more of a linear hack n slash with loot?
I agree that the screens do look a little too good, specular lighting, self shadows and soft shadows all look better than what the consoles can/have rendered.
I seriously would like some form of co-op but despite the monster hunter looking game-play Capcom says no co-op :( But your Pawns (This is name design choice as bad as "unobtainium" I hope they try harder) can be trained and traded with other players.

A big thing mentioned by the developer was they wanted to stand out as actually being able to slash or attack parts of the monster. So aim at the legs or wings and hit that part, not like current adventure games where you stand and swing and you Hit the beast wherever the artist pre-rendered.

It sounds like it is open world, with lots of exploration, lots of customization, and even some character interaction and inventory management. I really like the fact that everything from your armor thickness to your height and length of your limbs will affect your combat and gameplay. Definitely keeping my eye on this now!
