Has this game been downgraded graphically? Uncharted 2 looked great a few of those screens look poor. Whats going on with the grass textures under him in screen 4?

Yeah but seriously, the screenshots are like 10 times larger than the vita screen. Of course it's going to look odd. Resize the picture and take a look at it again.

I have no interest in handheld gaming, i thought this was for PS3 lol.
The developers here are really good at adapting the home console versions, Syphon Filter and Resistance were both pretty good, this looks to add to the list.
Tbf even at large screenshot size the game still looks pretty decent, could almost get away with it looking as an average current gen console game. Sure this size exposes the flaws abit too much and I'll never understand why they show huge screenshots of protable games but really it's an achievement for these devs to have the game still look alright at this size, so it will only look nicer when it's all compact onto a vita screen.

3-5 hours of GREAT looking visuals on a high res screen. Seems reasonable. 3DS however is neither pushing visuals or tech and barely manages 3 hours. That is just inexcusable after the great battery life of the DS... Either way i play my handheld indoors. So battery life isnt an issue.

only time i use my handheld is when im traveling or out and about, thats the whole point of a handheld for me.
With them being more and more capable both visually and control wise, i see them more as a stand alone console then i ever have. I buy them for the same reason i buy any home console...to play their exclusives...doesnt bother me if i'm home or out, but sadly i dont have the luxury of being able to sit on a bus with 250 quids worth of tech and feel confident i'll have it when i get to my destination. Same reason my iPad is very much a home use item only for me.
