And you should be glad, that you didn't. The original left a lot to be desired, especially when it came to the gameplay which was rather stiff und slow, forcing you to use hit'n run tactics for good rankings, which was rather annoying. Also it had a lot of technical issues.
This remaster though looks like a completely new game and better in every aspect. Gameplay simply looks awesome imo and it's obvious that they used a lot of their experience which they good with Muramasa and Dragon's Crown, making the characters much more mobile and quick.
If it had just been an HD revision of the original with unaltered gameplay, I wouldn't have cared. This though looks like a really fun game now and I can hardly wait to play it.
