WOW - I can't see how anyone isn't impressed for that.
It looks as good the PS3 version only with more jaggies and this is running on a handheld console and is a launch title. OMG!!!
Can you imagine how good games will look on Vita this time next year. Incredible

This was the first time that I didn't roll with my eyes when they said their typical PR sentence "this is only possible on this system"

For now, that statement is true, but it won't last long. The CPU and GPU in Vita are off the shelf components from ARM and PowerVR, both of which will make their way into iPhones and Android phones within the next year. In 2 years from now phones will have *more* powerful CPU/GPU combos than Vita. John Carmack said recently he expected phones to be as powerful as an Xbox 360 and PS3 in about a year.

but untill they get buttons and their market changes, they will always be shallow, casual focused, poor controlling experiences. seriously, who wants to play an FPS with a touch screen analogue stick, or who wants their FPS to be downgraded to a rail shooter (RAGE). its awful. but then it isnt their market, not their intention and probably never will be.

It's lame how they got the game inside that Vita cutout. I guess it's not as bad as Nintendo though, showing 2 screens and a 3DS when only one of the screens usually has anything relevant to people's interest.

iphones should have quality of games as handhelds, same or better gfx with features, 249$ or less and more than 3hrs battery life.

Love it. This looks great for a mobile game, but is that framerate the video or the game faltering? They need to fix that or downgrade the visuals a bit so we get a smooth experience.
I can't help but think the ipod touch I buy next year might already outperform this though. Hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What is wrong with people? It is like saying why buy a console when PC can do 1080P 60fps.

This looks great and LBP looks even better and there are some other games too which are must buy.

Sorry but a phone will never be a gaming device.

Don't get me wrong.

I'd love a phone which had high quality camera's,(no i'm talking , 20x optical zoom pop out, and then a screen that pulls out and widens to the size you want. and finally pop out buttons on a phone.

See the vita has the buttons and a really decent screen, because it's a gaming device, a phone isn't.

If you want phone games, go play angry birds.

as a handheld game this really looks fantastic :)

anyway i won't buy PSVita... very good piece of hardware, but great exclusives are the most important thing for me with a gaming platform, and regarding the games PSV doesn't impress me

Far from it. It looks slightly better than a PS2 game.

Mobile phone games look horrible, even worse than PS1 and Nintendo 64 games. PS Vita games can use most of the RAM while each application on mobile phones can not use more than a very small amount of the memory (10 % of available RAM on iPhone and even less for Android).

Looks a damn sight better then a PS2 game. I wish PS2 games looked that good tbh, could have gone on a few extra years.

Looks excellent for handheld. Won't getting it. Never was a Uncharted fan.
Gets really boring, shooting same type of enemies the whole game. :/
