Table Tennis has just been released on Wii, and here are the first ten minutes of the game. You'll see menus obviously, and the long first set of one of the first three tournaments's quarter-final. Some impressions and of course the video after the click.
To be honest, it's far from the Xbox 360 version. The feel is disappointing, and there's a strong lack of control due to the mediocre movement recognition. Also, the rather realistic take of the game imposes lengthy sessions, sometimes more than 10 minutes without interruption, and it can be frankly tiring for the wrist because you need to whip the air at each stroke of racket.
But above all, the relative depth of Table Tennis' gameplay doesn't translate too will with the wiimote, which is oftenly manipulated with a bit of confusion, and some buttons are quite hard to reach - especially in the heat of the moment. In short, the game pays its origins and its lack of simplicity, on a console where you don't want to complicate your life. Wii Sports can sleep peacefully.

Could be intresting and give you major wrist strain at same time lol
Good video, it would be nice to see the wii remote being used in this game and also showing the game, kinda like when you guys showed the racing wheel for PGR3 in Gamersyde Diaries.
The game seemed to have alot more shading and lighting textiles. Still looks great for a wii game
Even though the game is old and wasn't planned for wii, it seems fit for a console like wii
