The closed beta for The Crew 2 is now available if you're one of the many people who have been invited to participate. Here are two videos of the PC version running with all graphics settings maxed out and some snow in L.A.

That is a very stupid thing to say, even as a joke, mostly because no, we haven't talked about TC2 since it was announced. That being said:
1. When we are invited to a preview event, we give the game some coverage. When we can bring back an hour of game footage, well we take the time, or should I say, I take the time to edit it so people can see what we could play. Incredibly enough, an hour of footage means quite a good number of videos. Sadly, it does not happen a lot because we're Gamersyde and we're not invited that much anymore.
2. When a game is released or a beta arrives and it's a genre we can play, we give the game some coverage.
3. I think I shouldn't need to justify myself considering the number of videos I make for the website and the number of different games I cover.
4. Also, 2 videos of the beta, 2...
5. On a side note, between August 2017 and March 2018, we never talked about the game and there are only 8 news articles about the game on the website, most of which were put ut during E3 last year.

Well, I was talking about that in general, just look at PCARS 1 and 2 video coverage and even The Crew 1, there's a huge amount of videos, it may not be the case for TC2 yet, but it will when it's released.

So I'm on trial now? PCARS1 and 2 made sense since we had early access to the game, mind you. Believe it or not, that's how you can potentially attract traffic to a website. As for The Crew, contrary to most websites that rushed to post a review, we took our time and shared what we thought was relevant to show the game's strengths and weaknesses. Because, contrary to what you seem to imply, I didn't put the game on a pedestal. Maybe I should just let you take care of the video content all year long? :p

But that's the thing, no I don't post a lot more videos when I like a game. What I do I always do thinking the website can benefit from it. That's why every time we're sent games in advance I also try to propose as many videos as possible. It's more a question of getting access to the games early. I mean, I didn't even like PCARS2 for example, I was very disappointed in the game, and I also was disappointed in The Crew actually (we may not have done a GSY Live review in English, but in the 2 hours it lasted I gave the game a hard time when it was necessary). That's why I think it was neither fair nor funny. For me, it's a bit like when people would say we only covered Ubisoft events and we were biased (while the reason we mainly did cover their events was that because no one else would invite us...).
No big deal, but with the time I spend on the website (not to mention all the technical problems I have to deal with) and the fact that I am beat, I probably tend to overreact a little bit. I still like you very much sweet pie, don't step away from me. ^^

My main disappointment is that it's the same playground and they haven't added any cities (Boston is still missing for example) or any of the 2 missing states. I would be more excited if the game were set in a new country, but for someone who hasn't spent much time on the first one, it's a big improvement. Some people don't like the car handling but I think it's much more fun. Probably not as interesting than Forza Horizon, but Microsoft's game bores me quickly for other reasons (mainly, its ridiculously small world). Planes could be more interesting to pilot, but it's still fun to try stunts in cities. Boats are nice, but not that hard to master, so I'm afraid it might get a bit old too soon. As for bikes, well, motocross is quite weak in my opinion. Overall, the game seems more interesting in terms of content and races, it looks and sounds way better, but the explorer in me would like to be able to discover a brand new country.
crew2 probably first surprise in 2018 for me. not waiting too much, since crew1 but oh boy - game is AWESOME and MILES better than first one. gorgeuos visuals, music and tons of disciplline makes me think that i even would platinum it.
yeah, in terms of rally, f1, and driving there better games(dirt, f1 and forza horison) but crew2 formula is different, and gives different feelings overall

I just said that when you like a game, you tend to make more videos than game's you did not like much, I was not criticizing at all.
I really really need to step away from forums.
