The Crew 2 got updated with a new season but Ivory Tower had also promised a current gen upgrade in the presence of two graphics modes. The end result is quite disappointing though as performance mode is limited to 1080p, which shows a lot on a 4K display, even more so as it sometimes looks as if the resolution is even lower. The Resolution mode features a dynamic 4K resolution but the framerate is locked at 30 fps like before. As a result, it does not look much different than when we ran the game on Xbox Series X through backward compatibility. Some changes have been made to the color palette and weather effects, among other things, but it is clearly not a game changer. On a side note, because Driftwood Jr. really loves this game and has been playing it for months now, he wanted to be the one playing when we recorded the following footage. As you can imagine, he was very proud to be allowed to prepare the footage for you guys.
