The Deadly Tower of Monsters was released a few weeks ago and we were sent a code to prepare a bunch of funny gameplay videos commented by the director of the movie the game is supposed to be. As you'll see and hear, ACE Team's title is a tribute to the old low-budget sci-fi movies in which bad stop-motion animation and poor special effects were the norm.
The gameplay mechanics are not especially original but the game is fun to play and listen to. This is clearly a title that was meant for those who were dying to shoot extraterrestrial bats being moved around in the air by visible strings, or those who secretly wanted to beat up chimps and/or stuntmen in costumes. If you're interested, you should know it's on sales right now Steam and only costs €10.
