The second major free update for Tom Clancy's The Division is coming on May 24 and will bring new Incursion called Clear Sky along with new gear sets, weapons, loot, mission, and the new Hijack feature for extractions.
Oh yes!!! I love new weapons and gear. In fact, this is my reason to play this game. I love to upgrade. :-D Unfortunately, I have really bad luck, when it comes to loots from enemies. I´m getting crap all the time. :-D
I got bored of the PC version some weeks ago. The hacking really became an absolute spoiler for fun gaming. It wasn't nice to come into a server an seeing people fly through the air or shooting you through a building.
What kind of hacking? I'm going mostly solo, so it's a little bit frustrating sometimes, but except some miraculous fast kills from rogue agents, I didn't see any hacking. But I'm not playing it very often, so...

The game itself is in a state where the challenges aren't challenges at all, but simply rape, even if you have top-tier gear.
Many people who do not play 12 hours a day cannot get this gear. The way the missions are setup is to allow one good set (potentially) drop a week from a certain mission on challenging -- which requires either a really good set of players, or the exact gear you're going for.
That entire mess led to people cheating to get the set gear because they simply didn't want to spend 16 weeks on the off chance of getting their gear score up. The gear score, which is controversial in itself for fueling elitism, has become a necessity to play the challenge mission that no one really even wants to play to begin with. It's quite an anti-innovative step, and if you asked me: their model asked for cheaters from the get go...
So, people are pissed off about that, but that is the tip of the iceberg. The game mechanics and the dependency built on crafted items instead of drops is an issue. Griefing new players is an issue. DZ zone play is an issue. Reward worth versus time and effort is an issue.
There are a lot of issues. And to throw even more fuel on the fire, Massive haven't given the slightest inclination that they give a shit about balancing the game. They just want to pile shit on top of a broken system instead of fixing the current one.
It's all very disappointing. I had high hopes for this game, but in its current state I haven't played in almost a month.

Thanks a lot. From this point of view, it really looks like a problem. I play it easy, I'm not really rushing anywhere and I just thought it's because of my gameplay style, that I can't get some nice gear for a long time. OK....I got two green set pieces in span of 10 hours of gameplay. Not really a win. I'm glad You summed it up, because I thought I'm just really shitty player, because many rogue agents are killing me almost instantly with quarter of magazine and I thought they just have some awesome gear collected. Same with the drops. I'm just 174 gear score, so frustration comes very often. I must say I love this game. But after Your recap, I will have to get some group together. One is for sure.....upcoming update with the new feature of cutting the loot from the helicopter rope is plain stupid. There are moments, when there are two rogue groups of 4 players each and they just circling around the dark zone and You can't do anything. Can't get some loot, can't extract, can't eliminate them, for some reason they always find me, when I have something valuable to extract.....I must say, that I'm not looking forward to the new update.
I have the same opinion as he has. I too think I got my money's worth out of it (I bought the cheapest version). But after a while it gets extremely repetitive not to mention once you think you are good, they just release more stuff and you can start over again. If you don't want or have 2h a day to play this game, you're never going to be really good in the dark zone. And let's face it, that is what really keeps it interesting: pvp.
So you can just cut the loot extraction rope now..............fantastic. Not that I've been playing at all lately. Got 160 something hours in and quit.
