I don't get why so many games release "launch trailers" weeks before you know they actual launch! Isn't this confusing to people who don't follow game news closely?

The same reason games get awards and accolades before release based on trailers alone and then parade those - to generate hype. Releasing launch trailer a week before will ensure to draw attention to release itself in advance, or at least that's the idea.
to buy, not to buy, that is the question... think i will wait for the twitch streams of this game to see if it really has got content or if it is another destiny
Well, after playing both betas, its a day one purchase for me. My only question is, $60 or $100? This one decision has kept me up several nights this week.
