The Dream Drive in World of Speed

Slightly Mad Studios has released brand new gameplay trailer for World of Speed. The short video features the Mazda RX-7 and Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution battling it out on a couple different tracks and in some particularly nasty weather conditions.

1. He was talking about the cut-aways, not the total lenght of the trailer. And he seems about right, they cut away after about 1 or 2 seconds.
2. Don't type like that... it makes you look like a douche.

Games looks good (PGR vibes a-plenty), driver looks a bit pasty though. Could do with some sun...

I get what you mean. The textures are low-res, so things like the headlights look rather poor (could do with a boost), plus a lot of aliasing on the bodywork doesn't help. BUT, the lighting model is quite nice (again, very PGR 4), and, I know this is going to sound weird, but I like the fact the cars have got proper number plates on. That is something that always bugs me about games like Forza/Horizon. The cars don't look right without them!
