Midway has unleashed Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and here you have the First 10 Minutes of it. What I like about this fighting game is that it has a story mode, and with a big pile of cool characters to help out with the story.

As I said above, the game has a story mode where you chose side - MK or DC. You then play different characters in different cities. The game has 22 characters, eleven from each universe, and they all have some cool special moves. Catwoman has her whip and the Flash has his speedy moves.

You can also engage different special modes in a fight, like pushing your opponent through walls while throwing fists, or flying through the air. These look pretty cool though it mostly is all about smashing all buttons as quickly as you can. After finishing the story, there's also an Arcade mode playable.

So far the game has been a pretty decent fighting game, and the fans will probably find it really enjoyable. Below is the First 10 Minutes of the game, showing a couple of fights and cut-scenes. Since I wanted to show as many fights as possible, I edited out some rounds.

Hahaaa, terrible plot and voiceovers, but somehow so cheesey it works - the connection they've made is wonderfully spurious. Funny how the animation goes from relatively smooth to stilted during the fighting, it's jarring considering the cutscenes appear to use the same engine...

I haven't tried it yet but i can't believe that it is a "decent" fighter. No MK game has ever been. Then again most people don't want a good fighter. The game is just filled with completely retarded ideas, like breakers and close combat.

Manager: Can't really trust review scores when it comes to this genre. People that review games don't have the time to get in to the game at any greater depth. I'm guessing that MKvsDC will please the fans, but i also doubt that it will satisfy someone wanting a good and deep fighter experience. In no way will this play in the same league as Tekken and VF, or even SC.

Complete trash like MK Armageddon and MK Deception got scores in the same range as this. Says it all.

No reviewer is saying it will, those games are at ~88% and this is at 77%...

H4t3rs be damned, looks like a decent Story mode fighter.

Games like Tekken and Soul Calibur are uter shite, with only a beginning and end cutscenes, and for seeing them you need to go trough the same fights over n' over with the sames enemies, only to see the characters ending?
If this game has unique story(cutscenes) to all the characters, it could be a good and lenghty fun to people who enjoy shitty saturday morning shows like spiderman, superman, etc...

Manager: i think 77% is way too high. And like said, crap like Deception got higher than this and Armageddon got just slightly less. If you are a fan it will be good, but if you are a fan you obviously aren't into fighters, or you wouldn't waste your time. My conclusion? This will be a bad fighter.

Its funny how people hate stuff, but can't quite grasp the concept of leaving alone products that doesn't matter to them. No, they need to stick with making other believe their opinion should be the same as they, so they can have a somewhat stupid and disturbed closure and say... \thread.

Well, Its probably the contrary, you're so bad at the game, you can't even enjoy yourselve, the only thing that rests is for you to make others feel the way you felt.

That video has left me mildly interested in the game. The gameplay is better than I thought it would be and story mode has me wanting to know more. Very good.

But anyway MK has been trash ever since it went 3D the last good MK game I played was Mortal Kombat Trilogy which was the best of them all.....

Mostly all the fighting games these day are all garbage ... Tekken 3 was the last great Tekken game ..... Street Fighter IV is rehashed garbage of all the Street Fighters expect Street Fighter EX plus alpha I love that game ..... The only two fighters I like is VF & DOA but thanks to the 360 messed up D-pad I really can't enjoy it

MK2 on the MegaDrive was my last Mortal Kombat fix (when it was released).

Used to play it after college with my mates, wickedly good fun. Along with Killer Instinct on the SNES (we knew all the humiliating finisher combos for both games).

This looks OK to me, but not exactly faithful to the series. Here's to "Evolution"...

Sorry to disappoint you but this game rocks! Every guy who played it is very satisfied about this game... Technically is awesome, not at SC level but not shit like Deception and Armageddon. The gameplay is fluid and fast like MKII and MK3... the only thing that disappoint and if you read reviews all are disappointed by that, is that Fatalities aren't full of gore, and some are stupid, and that there are few extra. But everybody who is playing this game is very satisfied, so take a chance before to talk only because is Mortal Kombat...
