PC Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox Gamecube DS PSP

If you know me well I'm sure you are aware of my "Love" for all games developed by Electronic Arts. So it might surprise you that I actually enjoyed playing this Need for Speed: Most Wanted on my Xbox 360. It's not a perfect game, far from it in fact, but as a rather mindless racer it's great fun. If you can forget about the rather annoying framerate, I really recommend giving this game a try !
This video is from the french version of the game, with only french voices and text. Sorry I couldn't do anything about this.
Update : Second part online.

'but as a rather mindless racer it's great fun'

exactly my sentiments. quite a good game but nothing to in depth or serious. reminds me of NFS hot pursuit which was quite a good game.

i find that its too easy to get away from the police, or if you wait a little longer it gets really hard to. its great fun though
the x360 graphics look much better than the xbox version, a lot bigger than i thought when all we were seeing was screens of the two games

Copchases and cutscenes are fun. The rest of the game is kinda blah to me. The core of the game isn't all that entertaining and involving. I just wanna unlock everything and flip the bird to the boys in blue, I don't wanna actually play the game. :) :(

I see you guys talk about the framerate being bad but when I played the demo it didn't slow down at all for me. Actually it slowed at the menu thats all. Now, Condemed had a lot fps drops, but this i didnt notice any.

The framerate never drops, true. But it's also never at 30 fps. It's like it's between 20 and 25 or so, very strange.

is that the 360 version? I downloaded the demo and thought the frame rate was pretty bad but assumed it would be smooth in the final build....I guess I am wrong...(mentally re-adjusts priorities of what games to buy next!) but it is good fun though...

Game is fun. Things can get pretty tense when you realize you have 10+ cops on your tail.

First post, and it's a shame for it to be a moan, but read this thread and had to post up.

I run my Xbox360 in 1080i Hi-Def on a Sim2 Domino20 projector onto a 92" screen. Have to say the Xbox does itself justice most of the time, and looks absolutely fantastic, even on a screen this big.

But I've been really disappointed with NFSU:MW. The slowdown on this game is horrific. The framerate isn't good as mentioned above, but I get so much slowdown at points in the game where there's a bit of traffic on the screen etc. The framerate seems to drop down to around 15-20fps, and becomes noticeably jerky :(

PGR3 on the other hand is awesome! :P

Think I'm going to return this game and get CoD2, as it's quite embarressing inviting all your mates over to show off your new Xbox360 only to end up with it croaking to a halt because it can't handle all the new eye candy.. :(
