First 10 minutes PC Xbox 360 Wii

It’s been a few weeks already since the release of Sam & Max: Save the World - the first season of the adventures of our two favourite freelance police officers – on Xbox Live Arcade. We didn’t show you any video at the time but a sin confessed is a sin half pardoned so today here it is. Instead of the usual first 10 minutes of the game, we have decided to show you the beginning of the second episode. The demo actually let you play through the whole first episode so we figured that showing you something new made more sense.

The game is obviously your typical point and click, just like the good old adventure games from LucasArts. The only difference here is that, instead of a mouse you use a standard controller, which is of course a bit less convenient but it works fine anyway. As for the rest, you will get the wacky stories you’d expect, the tricky puzzles and the necessary jokes in all 6 episodes. While waiting for the remake of Monkey Island next week and for a possible XBLA port of Tales of Monkey Island, there is no doubt that the fans of the genre will cave. If they haven’t already that is. Just as a reminder, the complete game will cost you 1600 MS points.

I really enjoyed this when I played it on GameTap a while back. I still have yet to play Season 2. I should get on that one.
