Eidos has released Shellshock 2 on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and here's the First 10 Minutes of it in video-form. This FPS is set during the Vietnam war (with a zombie twist), but the game doesn't meet any of the quality standards set during the last couple of years. Additionally, it's difficult to understand how a shooter can be released with no multiplayer mode these days, and it's hard recommending this game to anyone unless you really want to dig into the 'Nam war again.

Warning: the game likes to use the F-word, a lot, including the segments in the video.

Since when a game (even FPS, how about Riddick )without MP is something we should avoid ? Shellshock2 sucks a$$ for sure but Ur comment on MP was kinda funny :p Talkin about standarts when 80% of games these days are about hype, same gameplay without fresh ideas is somewhat awkward....

im playing this game atm and im kinda enjoying it.

it's far from being a good game, with crappy graphics, low quality sound, terrible AI etc etc. BUT i like the premis a lot. they've taken the history lesson subject matter and made it moderately entertaining. i just wish the developers of cod or medal of honor would put a fantasical, yet entertaining spin on their games too.

why do we have to have old war footage presented like something from the history channel? why no be creative with the premis. it's the reason i prefer these types of games and wolfenstein over the traditional war themes games.

I know but : "Additionally, it's difficult to understand how a shooter can be released with no multiplayer mode these days" hehe Anyway game is really bad ( with some easy gamerscore tho ) so there is no need to waste keyboard on it. Peace !

Why do I like what I see? I think it looks ok. What is so bad about it? Can't see it from this video.

The graphics are a bit saved because of the darkness, but the game isn't a complete nightmare. It's just nothing special, not worth €60.

I didn't even know this game was out but I was impressed but how the story was being told in those first ten minutes.

Will I run out to buy it, probably not, but I'd definitely pick up in the bargin bin :P

Well, the first 10 minutes looked pretty good to me, reminded me of Call of Cthulhu presentation. The story sounds intriguing, chasing your psycho brother and dealing with a psycho comrade in 'Nam.

Shelshock excels all in the :"The number of left-handed men is double that of left-handed women" department. I mean, it just can't be beaten in that aspect.

I did enjoy the first one. Guerilla did a good game. I don't know the studio in charge of this one but it reminds me of Soldier Of Fortune 3....
Nevermind...They should have stuck with the 3rd person view.
