Game looks pretty cool, the video was over produced. Pan up, pan down, zoom into the guys ear with a crazy sound.

should be fun. But for a video about the guns it didn't show a lot of guns. I figure they don't want to give away too much, but the thing he said about not having loads of guns but a smaller arsenal of really polished ones makes you wonder. Maybe this is all they've got in there :p

Nice to see somebody using the "peak & lean" from the latest Medal of Honor to good effect.

Actually, medal of honor airborne did (2007), uses the same peak and lean system as this game, where you dont stick to cover like you do in killzone (2009), you just anchor down and then have free movement on the spot. Allowing you to peak up and over, or lean right and left.

Actually, nearly all Medal of Honor games have had the "peak and lean" system (I played MoH Allied Assault in 2002), probably the first franchise on CONSOLES (obv PC games have had it forever) to feature it.

And I like it far more than sticky cover systems. Even Riddick uses "peak and lean" to great effect.

not in the same way at all. leaning out from cover isnt the same as what this game, nor airborne used. play airborne and you'd realise they're nothing alike. airborne was like being teathered to the spot with free movement to duck, weave, peak, lean. you had free movement with the analogue sticks. old medal of honor games just alowed you to peak, often poorly implimented and clunky. usually resulting in leaning out only to relise you cant lean enough. resulting in an awkward situations where you have to re-position yourself to peak again, and again and again untill you got it right, by which time you could have just poked your head out entirely and shot the guy waiting for you.

First, sounds like your subjective experience with being not good at the old MoH games. Second, the only difference of being stuck on cover, doesn't really equate to "they're nothing alike" when comparing both examples of the system.

They really are nothing alike. They feel completely different. Like comparing the cover system of RS vegas to say, killzone. Are they both fps's with a cover system? Sure, do the cover systems work in the same way? No.
