Announced quite a long time ago, The Secret World is finally unveiled a bit via this first teaser CG trailer, looking quite good, and a few artworks. Looks like this will be an action oriented MMORPG, so maybe this time Funcom will actually release it on the 360, unlike Conan...

As for The Secret World, hmm, it seems interesting enough, like to see more. As for MMO's I'll be following this game, Starwars: the old republic and Huxley. I looked long for a chance to play an MMO and The Secret World could be it.

The best premise ever... but really, the guy is a stroryteller genius, dunno if he is the same about combat and mmo worlds.
Need actual game footage first.

1st and 3rd ss are awsome and some is the vid, but the 2nd one, she looks rather crap (still good quality visually) with the hair going over her eyes.......

I was enjoying in the beginning cause it was looking like some realistic story , great atmosphere , then....the monster and the ninja sword! For me it just blew it. I am really looking for some game that is based in our reality. Heavy Rain and Alan Wake seems to be more like it and I am very excited about both of them! Don't get me wrong , I like fantasy games but everybody is doing it and everything is looking somehow generic!

lol I don't think you actually understand the meaning of the word "redundant." Saying "I'm a firefighter who fights fires" is redundant. Saying "I play Xbox360 because I like to play Xbox360" is redundant. The word means to deliver the same thing more than actually needed. If she drank a smoothie in every scene of the game, that would be redundant. If she does it once, well that's not redundant... maybe you meant "retarded" haha.

Anyhoo... damn those smoothies, ruining perfectly good games with their... strawberry...ness.....

I felt regret for this game is mmorpg. It's should be action+rpg(hack slash) or action+adventure. that I hopefully before.

Okay so it's unnecessary, it's pointless, it doesn't add anything to the scene. To me it's obvious that they added the scene to underline the whole "reality" aspect of it but it just feels stupid.

i doubt this will ever see the light of day on the 360.. its simply not a suitable platform for mmo's. Microsoft really need their next xbox to have an open network because without a doubt mmo's will be the big money earners on console in years to come...and sony really have a chance to capitalise on that this generation.

To be honest, i think the premise has much more potential being a single player game. i mean, it looks like it would have a cool story, something like its set in the real world, except chosen beings exist like demon hunters, witches etc..the chick could be one of those chosen ones..and demons are real and they cross over to our world

Pretty much like constantine, except you got hot asian chicks with tattoos kicking ass, a blond chicks with shotguns as the side kick, and a friggin smoking guy who might be the pissed off preacher who advices you and stuff..

see could've been an awesome single player game...good story, good action, and alot of ass kicking
