Images PC Xbox 360 PS3

Those of you who, like me, purchased the whole season of The Walking Dead will be glad to hear that the third episode entitled Long Road Ahead will be available today on PS3 in North America. No release date has been given for Europe on Sony's console but it should be soon enough. As for PC and 360, everyone will be able to continue the story as of tomorrow.

Cool story and characters with some QTEs and point n click activities dont make a game imo. I love it just like fahrenheit, heavy rain and asuras wrath.

So no hope of it tomorrow on EU PSN then lol. No matter, waiting for it to go half price anyway, just like Back to the Future did before the 5th Ep was even released.

It's an evolution of the adventure game, more cinematic. Everything's a game to me, as long as you can interact with a virtual world it's a videogame to me.

Either way, can't wait! Ep 2 was amazing.

LOL If you compare Walking Dead to gems like Police Quests, Darkseed, Beneath a Steel Sky, Money Island and dozens other gems from the gold age then You perhaps never played them.

Yeah indeed it was. It would be imposible to write down all great point cliks just like that ...just gave few examples. Those games were challening, smart and some of them hard as ass, I guess most of people would finish them without guides nowadays. " Damn I got stuck again" was everyday bread back then ;] Walking Dead aint evolution of those games, Id rather say they are evolution of Space Ace or Dragon's Lair ;p Great game nonethelss.

But surely they both are just as gamey or not as each other? How can the simon says gameplay of farenheit (a physical game in itself) be less of a game then pixel hunting in a game like monkey island? You either accept them all as being games, or non as being games. I'm safely in the former personally. Non of them may have "traditional" gameplay, but they have gameplay all the same.

They are just "interactive movies" ( 90s are still alive )

But the interaction is gameplay.

You know that plastic toy you can buy called simon says....that is a game...FACT. Fahrenheit uses that extensively in it's interaction. Surely we can conclude that the interaction is gameplay?

People that think that "games" are only defined by the fact that you have total control over some avatar and generally are blasting the heads off, butt-bopping or sword-swinging at something, have a very narrow view of "games" and in turn have very limited enjoyment.

If you are engaged and it's interactive and you can win or lose, it's a "game". Period.
