CDProjektRED and Warners Bros. have announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition will be released for Xbox 360 on April 17 in North America, no date yet for Europe and other territories. The game will feature new quests, locations, NPCs and cinematics. PC users will get for free all these new contents.
Press release:
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 to be released on 17/04/2012
“The Xbox 360 version is a complete adaptation of the game to the new platform, we’ve rewritten the code so it feels native to the console. This latest version of The Witcher 2 has been expanded in many ways, and some experts believe it to be one of the best-looking games ever to make it to consoles,” said Adam Badowski, head of CD Projekt RED Studio.
Gameplay has been extended through the addition of new quests and locations. The Witcher 2’s intriguing plot is now even more complex thanks to the introduction of major new NPCs who intensify the struggle for power in the Northern Kingdoms.
Other enhancements include the game’s user interface, which has been revamped to provide for better control on the Xbox 360, while new targeting, camera and control systems will give players full control of the witcher during the game’s dynamic and tactically rich combat sequences.
“PC users who already own the game will be happy to learn that they will be able to download all the added content free of charge. At the same time, the Xbox 360 version will incorporate all DLCs and upgrades made available thus far for the game’s original platform (including the ‘Arena’ arcade mode and Tutorial that were part of the latest and richest PC version),” added Badowski.

For identical content censoring doesn´t depend on the platform, it depends on rating systems and legislation in different countries. If the publisher wants to achieve a specific rating (e.g. 16+) he is urged to cut/change game content in some countries.
So it should be like the PC version = censored e.g. in Australia, uncensored in the UK, Germany, US and probably most other countries...
Good news for Xbox users! I'd like to see some gameplay straight from the Xbox version. I just started playing the PC version recently and it's amazing so far! Thoroughly impressed
Absolutely excellent game, on my second play through on Dark Mode... hopefully the patch will allow me to access the additional content on this play through.
Did microsoft pay them to make it on the xbox? Or did they not want to touch the PS3 because its a mess to code for? I would like to see how it compares to the PC version because the PC version is like sex to look at!
First game ran like total crap and wasn't a good experience for me. The second game looks incredible and runs really great maxed out on my system so I'm happy.

They've changed publishers from Namco Bandai to Warner Bros? Not surprised after the lawsuit.
A CGI trailer were Geralt didnt show up at all...it was quality, but Geralt didnt show up which was a big dissapointment.
