Developer Diary PC

Now that all the big 2010 releases are available, Namco-Bandai is preparing the beginning of 2011 with this new video of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Until we have official confirmation of a console port, the PC will have to be your choice should you want to discover this promising RPG.

It's listed as 360 and PS3 too, but that's not true. Nothing has been said about that yet.

Sweet, my current computer falls just within the requirements so even if i haven't upgraded by release i can still play it on the crappiest settings :)

Looks great by teh way, i like that they actually have multi core support.

They did?!!! Please do you have a source? Cause last thing i heard was that the developer said 'A console version is doable' nothing more...sadly.

Hmmm, I would say that video damn near confirms it is coming to consoles. Like at 2:52 when the guy says, "we made certain not to cut ourselves off from making the game for current gen consoles at any point". They also focus on how "scalable" the engine is. If they purposely made the game and engine work with current generation consoles, why would they limit themselves to <15% of their market share by only releasing the game on PC? Wouldn't make much sense for a business to shoot themselves in the foot like that...
