A new patch was released on the PS4 version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, bringing it to its 1.04 version. Among other things, it finally fixed the camera movement, which now looks perfectly smooth. Unfortunately, the game still doesn't use triple buffering, which results in heavy drop at 20 frames per second every time the game can't hold a steady 30 fps.

At least you can fix it. On console you are screwed unless the devs patch it.
Play Witcher 3 on Xbox One though, but the 30+ fps stuttering is gone with 1.03, cannot wait for 1.04 for that potion filter. Nice addition, as well as the bigger font, hapy!
Update: Too bad Microsoft takes that long for certification, where PC and PS4 players are having the new patch already :(
.) NEVER have I played a game, where choices matter that much. It changes the story in a profound way - very good work.
.) So addictive, you just cannot stop. Got a lot into trouble with my wife the last 2 weeks ... hahahaha
.) Brilliant atmosphere all the time, what an amazing achievement for that Polish team.
All these little niggles (coupled with a few crashes and glitches) take off a few points for me in what is actually a really good and interesting game so far...and one that is still really pretty for the most part till framerate distracts. It's testament that it's a good game that i'm still wanting to keep playing it in between spewing hatred at it whilst waiting through another long loading screen. It just obviously should have been delayed a bit longer.
Update: here are some of my screens from XBO

One of the very few games that makes me want to go through the monitor inside the game world. It's perhaps the best looking game I've ever played when you count its technical merits and art style.

I'm running mine from a 1000GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD.
Also, why do you fight enemies above your own lvl? I don't see much point in it. Just a waste of time frankly. Flee and come back when you've gained more experience.
Also the Frame rate problem on PS4 is due to CPU not being optimised, Nothing to do with GPU.
Most xboxone games are 900p because of the GPU, 7750 Amd basically.
As with most games these days, they are rushed to market before they are fully ready.
Patch 1.05 already on PC.
You can't really avoid fighting above your level (particularly at the start)...I'm only level 7 now and at the start pretty much every enemy i'd bump into would be above me, every mission and contract above me. Other than cheapness with the stupid camera lock system (which is made far too tricky to break out of the lock and simply run away when you've 3+ enemies on you), or randomly running into something several levels above, I can generally deal with taking on missions a couple of levels above me if needed. It's just when you battle framerate, or the camera fucks up and you go for the wrong enemy...or waste a sign, that you end up dying and seeing yet another loading screen.
Other than that, I've been playing the game on blood and broken bones difficulty and can't say I've experienced same issues that you have. The difficulty was challenging at first but actually not so anymore. Haven't died very often and the camera hasn't been an issue for me. Target lock system could use some tweaking though but it's not an issue. Planning on replaying the game on death march difficulty next time to get a better challenge.
