Here is the new video entitled The Trail, the opening cinematic of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which gives a good glimpse at the story that awaits you. CD Projekt RED will release the game on February 24th 2015.
Great! But only 200 mb? I thought the uncompressed would be atleast ~600 mb (some of my friends got it via other sources and say so) and that's consistent with the other uploads here.
Well, I assume this is the HD stream grab and the uncompressed one is still being uploaded?
I am just so excited about this game.
CDPR Dev are the best, they do no DLC's, they ship the whole game at once and needless to say they do make frkin amazing Games.

"uncompressed"? You mean like 1920*1080*3 (bytes per pixel) * 25 (fps) * 179 (seconds) = 27,8 GB, that you can download on another site on the internet?
Anyway, the bitrate is not as high as some other videos on gamersyde, that's true.

We always provide H264 files (for playback purpose among other things). The original file is indeed around 550Mb but it is a ProRes/PCM file so we encoded it.
It's "only" 200Mb now but the resolution and framerate are only 800p/25fps and dark hues/colors tend to compress well.

So excited about this! Never got the chance to play a Witcher game yet, but this looks so damned good. Pretty much the sole reason I will finally be getting a PS4 at the end of the year.
I'm sooo tempted to watch this trailer, but I probably won't. I'm sooo stoked about this game, that if I watch that intro. If I do, I would want to play it NOW! February 2015 can't get here quick enough! That month has The Order 1886, Bloodborne, and The Witcher 3!

BB and W3 oh man,..But Order1886?, that game would be a surprise dud. Calling it.
Brings new meaning to the term eat crow...har har har....I really like Geralt's new look. He looks nobler and harder(?). It kinda feels solid snake-ish. Either way, i'm stoked...I'm just trying to decide if I should pick up a second GTX 760 or go with a GTX 970 : /

Too late for me... everytime when i see theres new witcher stuff online I'm getting enthusiastic.... and after every trailer I just think "Bunch of sadists..! how am I supposed to wait until Feb???"
