Square-Enix released this brand new trailer of Thief for the VGX, even though it seems it was a bit forgotten due to the announcement of Tomb Raider's next-gen version.
If only the game could be played through 3rd person view, first person is boring especially during stealth.
I want to see my surrounding, see the animations of the character, see the design of the character.

not sure why you want to see the design of the character...it's pretty awful.
Immersive or not, they could have done some nice glove designs or something not just hands and thats it.
But then again, i am quite against first person view majority of the time, especially the genre it is in...stealth. I hated it in Dishonored i hated it in Deus Ex HR (yes even if it had guns) and no hate it here. Atleast give us a option which I believe one of the previous titles had.

certainly the best I've seen it so far.. still doesn't blow me away though. Not so much nit-picking, or being a spoilt child..but it still looks too "dirty" and "scratchy" for me - that's how i'd describe the visuals
