Only three new - tiny - images of Operation Flashpoint: Red River, that's all Codemasters is giving us this morning. Not much, but it will have to do until next time.
I can't put my finger on one particular thing, but this engine looks terrible for shooters. It looks amazing when used with racing games (DIRT, DIRT2, DIRT3, GRID), but this and Dragon Rising have some of the worse graphics on this generation of consoles. I guess it is fitting that the graphics match the gameplay though. The first one was an embarrassment to the Flashpoint name, and this one is shaping up to be a slightly more arcad-ey version of the first. Maybe they will at least make the campaign mode last more than 4 hours this time.
