Since we were lent the Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary Genesis (Mega Drive) by AtGames, we thought you might want to see what some of the 80 games included in the console look like today. Sadly for Streets of Rage and Ecco fans, this special edition of the console does not include the games of the 2 famous franchises, contrary to the other version presented on the manufacturer's website. Instead, you'll get Phantasy Star 2, Phantasy Star 3 and Sonic 3D Blast (plus a few other minor changes in the list of games). Unlike the recently released NES Classic Mini, you'll also be able to use the original cartridges (well, most of them) if you still own any.

The reason is we don't have the system in our database, so it's possible the news article doesn't show.

Supposed you still have 2 old controllers, can you play 4P games ?
Looking at the Audio/TV jacks, how do you even connect it to a TV?
LOL, and are those homebrew games on the 2nd list ?

Commented on 2016-12-29 14:49:10 In reply to SplitTongue2 wireless controllers are included in the package but the original gamepads are compatible (and so much better than the cheap ones they give). Not sure you can play with 4 players, I doubt it even.
To connect to a TV you either need your TV to have composite connections. The poblm is that most TVs don't anymore. My receiver has one, but I got no signal for some unknown reason. I was sent an composite to HDMI converter, which can be a bit costly (€40), to be able to play on Blim's ex 4K OLED TV.
