"Developed by a team made up of ex-Smash and ex-Team Ninja staff, TMNT is set to bring a similar arena-based fighting design as Brawl did early last year on Wii."

if it was multiplat, it would have had a reason to exist....for every console owner to experience a smash bro's like game....but on the wii, which already has smash bro's, what exactly is the point of it?

Party fighting on a great social console makes sense enough I reckon, but what's really confusing is they're using the CG movie look from like three years ago. From what I've heard, the new one won't even look like that, so this already seems dated in that sense.

Why not go for an appealing, neutral cartoon look instead?

I'm an old time TMNT fan though so stick this full of enough familiar faces and have gameplay that somewhat backs it up and I'll be game.

They say it's not based on any of the existing incarnations, it's just a mish mash. They definitely don't look too much like the recent CG movie though, besides the darker skin colour.

But again, I loved the show as a kid so I'm looking forward to what they can do with this, it'll be interesting to see which characters they include. There's a lot of potiential here.

Because the Wii is a party system and variety is not a bad thing. That could be why it exists.

I swear the enviroments are out of proportion compared to the turtles...it just looks weird, almost looks like a toy set.
