PC PS2 Xbox

Well, almost. As Sony still has the F1 license, we have to accept the Formula Palmer Audi series instead. But at least it's fast and all the other stuff the Toca-team does so well.

Nice. Hope we get some next gen F1 on 360 to rival the PS3 F1 game (that looks amazing).

I am really tired of this generation gaming. All am looking forward to now is xbox 360. Even if HALO 3 was about to get released on xbox I would consider not buying it.

Not really into any of the open wheel racing events myself; but Toca rocks.

Cool stuff.

I want to see a next gen Toca game...can't wait.

Does anyone know when that exclusive F1 deal with sony ends allready??

I mean, i am READY for a good solid F1 title on the 360 allready... can you imagine that one live?

22 people online.. pit crew ready for you... it could rain, it could stay dry... you would have to do pitstops for fuel, tires, damage, etc...

Should one hell of a ride.. but when?

After playing PGR3, every other racing game looks or feels very inept. :(

Oh what??? SONY has the exclusive license? That just sucks! I've been waiting for a good F1 game (there has been NONE for a LONG time) and I find this out??? What is Sony doing with it? NOTHING? I haven't seen a game from them........only the recent tech demo that is.

Yeah. . they have had if for years allready.. be glad you just found out, or you would be like me, waiting for the license to end... year after year... haha! :(

They released their official F1 game every year now.. i hope this will be their last one, so the license is up for ALL consoles and platforms... kinda sucks to keep it exclusive..

I want it online! and not just time trials like on the PS2... that;'s just mediocre...

Sony doesn't have an exclusive license, the license for F1 is something like 35million UK pounds for 4 years. Formula 1 has been on the Ps1 since 1995 to present day, EA came on the scene with an F1 game but it sucked and didn't sell enough copies to warranty spending that amount of money on a License. Eidos also bought a F1 license back in '99 but their F1 game bombed fusing Eidos to pull the game.

That's not completely true. Sony have the license to use up to date stats and team data. Any other F1 game must feature data that's a few seasons old. Hence the EA F1 Championship season game. It is true that the EA games didn't sell enough for them to warrent doing any more.

Anyway, it's already been announced that RD3 will have F1 cars, it features Williams F1 cars from over the years :)

Yeah but it's nothing to do with Sony for being Exclusive, anybody can make an F1 game just as long as they sign up for 4 years and paying like 35 Million pounds.
